Here are a few ideas for variations (for in-person, online, or both)
- Switch the Time / Quantity constraint. In other words, fix the timebox (eg. 3 minutes per round) and have teams estimate how much they can achieve.
- Make all three rounds be mono-suit OR follow the suit pattern (H>S>D>C…) so that the complexity/difficulty level remain consistent throughout all iterations.
- Secretly remove cards from a deck (add extra cards to a deck…) before a round. See how team reacts.
- Mid-round (maybe round #3) swap each team’s “best” player to the other team (“they really need your expertise”)
